TWO
Tantrums, diapers, poo!
But sweet giggles brainwash you
into having two.

HAIKU POLICE
Stop with those fingers!
You and your Haiku police.
I already counted.

THE BRIDE
"To love, honor, and..."
"WHAAT!?" she seethed, inobeisant.
Bouquet tossed, she bounced.

PANCAKES
"Kids are like pancakes..."
Mom grinned, stirring the batter.
"You mess up the first."

THE SECRET
"I do the cooking,"
she said, "YOU do the cleaning."
Thirty years... next June.

MID-TWEET
Drool slid down my chin.
Reaching, grasping, mid-Tweet, I...
nodded off to sleep.

MY SHOT
I donned a bonnet,
waited patiently... maybe,
she wouldn’t notice.

“You don’t look 80.
What BIG ARMS you have, Grandma...
You’re vaccinated!”

GOOD MORNING
Why thou'st beckon me?
MORTALS shan't disturb mine PEACE!

QUEEN'S CASTLE
The king is noblest
but slow and useless. Trust his
wife, the mightiest.

HER STEED
Squealing with delight
As her horse galloped that night
